The Knoxville Martial Arts Academy is Knoxville's only exlusively Mixed Martial Art school.  What does that mean?  It means that in every class students address striking and grappling, both from a standing and prone position.  We pride ourselves on not only training in Mixed Martial Arts, but also in testing our skills by competeing regularly around the world.

 

We also offer classes for children. Our classes improve self-esteem, discipline, focus, confidence and assertiveness as well as channel extra energy in positive ways. Not to mention they'll have fun and learn realistic self defense techniques in every class. Give us a call, shoot us an e-mail or stop by and see for yourself just how much fun martial arts can be!

KMAA offers classes for all ages groups, from 5 years old to 100 years old.  Our instruction style lends itself to the younger students because of our Play As The Way TM philosophy which teaches them the martial arts through play; the natural language of all children.  Through play we teach our students the value of honesty, self reliance, perseverance and a host of other character traits that will last them the rest of their lives.
 
This style works equally well for teenage & adult students who want to get a great workout, learn realistic self defense and have fun at the same time.  No standing in lines throwing static techniques at KMAA, everything we do is alive and evolving all the time.
